The Guardian

A lead specialist of a private dentistry Aleksei Frolov is a total bachelor, no woman stays for long in his life. One day, on his way home from work, he suddenly runs over a famous TV presenter and a public’s favorite Anna Mikheeva. The woman stays in hospital in coma, and it is not clear whether she will survive or not. Although Frolov is not guilty, all his live turns a nightmare – the journalists make investigative stories, the colleagues despise him. Anna’s son Dimka is brought to one of the shows devoted to the tragedy. The boy was sent to an orphanage because there was nobody to take him into a family while the mother stayed in the hospital. Frolov promises to help the boy and keeps the word – as early as on the next day he opens an account in his name, and after a while he takes and uneasy decision - to become the boy’s guardian. Dimka’s appearance in his man cave ruins Frolov’s customary lifestyle, but the deed looks generously of him. But how can he build sincere relations if the child blames him for the tragedy with his mother? And how can he become the boy’s friend and a tower of strength and then give the boy to the father who does not need him at all?
