The House That

Tonia, who had lost her mother at the age of 7 and was brought up in an orphanage, grew up with a dream about her own home and family. At the age of 35, Tonia lives in Kostenko family, spending herself for care of her husband Arkadii and his relatives. She tries to gloss over the fact that she annoys the folks, and her husband has grown cool towards her. The life brings Tonia together with Dmitrii Sergeevich who needs care. As she began working in his house, Tonia soon gets attached to the aged man, she empathizes with his problems – Dmitrii Sergeevich is on the outs with his son Gleb and is very lonely. Tonia treats him like his father who she has never known. Suddenly, Dmitrii Sergeevich dies. The notary informs the grief-stricken Tonia about the will of the deceased – the decision that will turn upside down and totally change the life of the main character…
