A Kind Soul

A story of Liuba Kulik, a sympathetic girl studying medicine. Liuba is doing an internship at a nursing home to be closer to her beloved teacher – Arseniy. In an effort to help her mother, a housekeeper, who has been suffering an injury, Liuba comes to the house of Dmitrii Petrovich Sviridov – a house full of conflicts and secrets. Brothers Igor and Dimka are constantly quarreling, Irina Sviridova blames her husband in loving more his son from the first marriage. Besides, Liuba quickly realizes that her mother Nadezhda and the owner of the house have a long-standing relationship. It also turns out that Sviridov is terminally ill, and Liuba provides him with all possible help. Finding herself in the epicenter of other people's suffering, Liuba becomes a victim of the drama. Having misinterpreted Liuba’s compassion, a goof-off and a mamma's boy Dimka rapes her. And soon Liuba finds out that she is pregnant. It puts an end to her nascent relationship with Arseniy...
